The HR report to leadership: what data to request and present

After launch, a benefits programme easily turns invisible to leadership – until the renewal premium increase, when it suddenly appears as pure cost. The quarterly one-pager prevents that: what the programme delivers stays continuously visible.

The six rows that fit one page

Where does the data come from?

Utilisation and mix data can be requested quarterly from the coordinator/insurer, aggregated – if you ask, we help you request and interpret it. HR metrics come from internal systems; the blockage list from flags reaching HR and the ambassadors (article). Individual-level health data may appear nowhere (GDPR).

The presentation

Next to each number, one sentence of interpretation: not „38%" but „38% of the team has already used it – strong for a first year by industry comparison". Quarterly by e-mail, once a year 10 minutes live at the leadership meeting – the latter tees up renewal decisions (renewal) and defends the budget.

The trap to avoid

Do not report anything you cannot also measure next year – a discontinued metric line is a worse message than one never started. The six rows are deliberately ones whose data arrives regularly, without extra work.
