The benefits policy: the list of mandatory elements

The benefits policy protects two things at once: the tax qualification (written evidence of genuine group character) and internal peace (everyone understands the same thing by the benefit). Here are the elements that must be in it – the update process has its own article (here).

1. Eligibility – by categories

Who qualifies: „all employees in employment", or defined job families. The key: objective criteria, not name lists or individual decisions (genuine-group checklist). Probationers belong here too: does cover start from day one – whatever the answer, write it down.

2. Tiers and their assignment

Which job category receives which tier, and what happens on regrading (promotion article). Package contents can be referenced („per the prevailing insurance contract") – details live in the contract; the policy fixes the assignment.

3. Entry, exit, absence

4. The financial and tax clauses

The benefit is employer-funded; its taxation follows „the prevailing legislation" (no hard-coded percentage – the reason here); family inclusion is a voluntary, employee-funded option (family-CIT). These three sentences are the spine of the tax side.

5. Data handling and related documents

The path of health data: the employer processes no individual health data; insured persons’ declarations go directly to the insurer (GDPR article). The closing element is the document hierarchy: the governing order (legislation → insurance contract → policy → information materials) in case of discrepancy.
